Opinion | Jedi Fallen Order Trailer | Cautiously Optimistic

E3 has started! ...Kinda...

Electronic Arts had their big live stream today, in which they showed off a bunch of stuff they are working on. Among these was their new Star Wars title, Jedi Fallen Order; and to be frank, it was the only one worth talking about. So let's do that, let's have a look at the fifteen minute gameplay demo that put out, and have a good old gab about it shall we?

Capcom looks to the past in order to make its way into the future, and approximately two and a half years after first being announced, the Resident Evil 2 remake is finally released.  Given that the original game is often cited as a contender for the best entry in the series, this new version had some big shoes to fill.  So how does it fare?

It has been almost exactly twenty-six years since the first episode of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers first graced television screens, and whilst the franchise may not be quite the juggernaut it once was, it still seems to have a little weight behind it. In the last couple of years the series got a brand new, high-budget film, and received a videogame spin-off, and a series of comic books; and now the Rangers are getting another new game, for consoles and PC this time.

That game will be called, Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid.

So here it it, the latest entry in the SoulCalibur series, part of a franchise that suffered some pretty devastating blows with the last couple of installments.  Now I ask myself, can this game restore the series to its former glory, or is it simply one last gasp before it disappears for good?  In this video I will attempt to find the answer.

Opinion | Soul Calibur VI Network Test

So, I downloaded the Soul Calibur VI beta over the weekend, and actually managed to find a few hours to play some of it.  Here I just give some very brief thoughts on the subject, and offer some of my opinions on how the game feels just from the little test.

Hey, just a quick update on my thoughts on SNK Heroines:  Tag Team Frenzy; since I said I would be keeping an eye on it, but haven't actually done much.  Time to remedy that a little.

Octopath Traveler | Review ... Sorta

Octopath Traveler is Square-Enix's latest RPG, and was recently released for the Nintendo switch, and actually had quiet a bit of hype behind it, at least amongst RPG enthusiasts.

So the question is, does it live up to that hype? Well, read on to find out...

One thing note before we begin properly, is that I haven't actually completed the game yet; however, I have sank more than a few hours into it, so feel that I am able to give an opinion. I might do a follow up post if my opinion changes once I reach the endgame, but at the moment I really don't foresee that happening. So for now, I guess you could consider this a provisional review if you wanted.
